Moving, not shaking.
I’m on what feels like day 2000 of packing up all of our shit so we can move into a new house. A house—a single family dwelling. Not a duplex. Not an apartment. A house. Tomorrow morning, we move.
I can’t wait to never have to hear the footsteps of children who are not mine racing and pounding above my head. I’m looking forward to not having to hear arguments that end in...

You should totally follow her.

Seriously. Follow her. She’s a piano phenom who is completely wonderful. She loves good ol’ rock n’ roll music. She’s funny. She’s sweet. And her talent is so immense that she’ll make you feel teeny tiny in the best goddamned way possible.
Do it.
So, I'm drunk...
No shit, I drank ONE beer so far, and I’m already tipsy. These new meds are FANTASTIC.
I am in the midst of moving. By “midst”, I mean packing all my shit into boxes and spending hours and hours looking at old artwork I forgot I started while drinking beer and maybe smoking grass. Don’t tell anyone.

For anyone still confused about Lost’s ending Tracie at Jez illuminates, as always, in the finale recap. I would have been so lost this entire time without Tracie.
(trust me. Y’all will be thinking: “OOOOOohhhhhh oookaaay….” every few paragraphs.)
it’s true, check it out
I’m starting to accept the finale for what it was, and enjoy it,...
I'm about to get extremely personal here, while...
I had a friend and neighbor whom I grew up next door to. We spent nearly every day of our lives together until I moved away at age 13. Some of my best memories revolve around her. I can recall countless evenings where we gathered the neighborhood kids together to play night games. I remember getting grounded for a week when she and I threw a rock (accidentally) into the window of the glass shop a...

Exactly a century after rumours of his death turned out to be entirely accurate, one of Mark Twain’s dying wishes is at last coming true: an extensive, outspoken and revelatory autobiography which he devoted the last decade of his life to writing is finally going to be published.
The creator of Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn and some of the most frequently misquoted catchphrases in the...
